Parts Specialist

We are seeking a Parts Specialist to manage parts distribution for the repair of our material handling equipment and our numerous customers in the Little Rock, AR Metropolitan market area.

Duties include:

  • Receive and process parts orders from both internal and external customers on the phone, through help desk software, email, and at the counter.
  • Conduct research, read catalogs, manuals, and computer displays to determine correct replacement parts for our rental fleet and customer needs
  • Maintain extensive phone and email contact with vendors, customers and technicians to ensure timely order fulfillment
  • Pick parts and supplies to fill customer and technician orders.
  • Process returns from customers and technicians.
  • Check on backordered parts and communicate status accordingly to expedite orders
  • Participate in parts department inventory.

Technical Skills:

  • Experience with industrial equipment is preferred but not required – training will be provided
  • Strong communication skills
  • Must be comfortable working both independently, as well as in a team environment
  • Basic Computer skills. Experience with Microsoft Office products is a plus
  • Experience using business systems (ERP) is recommended, but not required
  • Time management

Parts/Service Administrator

The Parts-Service Administrator plays a vital role in assisting the parts and service departments in their daily operations. Qualities such as organizational and administrative skills will contribute to efficient parts management, scheduling, and customer service, ensuring our customers receive the highest level of support.

Responsibilities

– Provide administrative support to the parts and service department, including data entry, filing, and document management.

– Maintain accurate records of service requests, work orders, and parts inventory.

– Act as a point of contact for customers, addressing their inquiries and service needs in a professional and friendly manner.

– Schedule service appointments and coordinate technician assignments.

– Assist in managing the parts inventory, including receiving, organizing, and issuing parts.

– Collaborate with suppliers to order parts, track shipments, and maintain accurate pricing and inventory records.

– Assist in scheduling service appointments, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and minimal downtime.

– Communicate with technicians and customers to confirm appointments and provide updates.

– Prepare service reports, invoices, and other documentation for customers and internal use.

– Generate reports on parts usage, service performance, and inventory level.

– Support quality control measures by assisting in inspections and audits of service work and parts inventory.

– Any and all additional duties assigned.

Qualifications

– High school diploma or equivalent.

– Proven experience in administrative or customer service roles, preferably in a parts and service environment.

– Strong organizational and time management skills.

– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

– Proficiency in office software and tools (e.g., MS Office, inventory management software).

– Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy.

Work Enviroment

– Mainly office based.

– Warehouse/Shop setting.

– Field.

– Ability to walk for long periods of time.

– Handle stress and high pressure daily.

– Prolonged sitting at desk.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.00 – $24.00 per hour
