Rental Coordinator

Job Description
Our Rental Coordinators are responsible for the daily activities of the equipment rental fleet at our National Lift locations. They assign and schedule rental equipment to maximize utilization and profitability, while ensuring that customer expectations are consistently and satisfactorily met. Rental Coordinators gather information and answer questions regarding equipment availability and specifications. They have a close working relationship with the Rental Manager and other National Lift Truck team members.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Solid knowledge of the processes for providing customer service
- Good understanding of strategy and techniques for building long-term customer relationships
- Contract knowledge, including good working knowledge of master agreements
- Good communication and problem- solving skills, including conflict resolution
- Knowledge of basic equipment specifications
- Ability to prioritize, multi task, delegate and work independently
- Good analytical skills
- Good working knowledge of inventory control functions
- Comprehensive safety knowledge as it relates to the equipment industry
- Advanced computer data entry skills(Outlook, Word, Excel)
Qualifications
- B2B (business to business) and interpersonal sales preferred
- Comprehensive knowledge of construction equipment and pricing policy
- Equipment rental industry experience preferred
- Customer service & cold calling
- CRM experience preferred (Salesforce)
- Ability to prospect customer base with precision
- Must have a high level of resourcefulness
- Strong telephone/communication skills
- Customer service aptitude
- Effective written and oral communication skills
- Solid computer skills
- Strong organizational skills
- Coachable and display leadership skills/traits
- Self-starter and driven
Work Environment
- Mainly office-based, some walking required.
Physical Requirements
- Must be able to follow procedure and perform repetitive tasks for extended periods of time.
- Ability to prioritize and act with flexibility required.
- Must be able to maintain cordial and friendly demeanor throughout high volume of phone calls, both inbound and outbound.

Compensation Package:
- Pay: $40,000.00 – $42,000.00 per year
- Bonus opportunities
